Resumo: O objetivo desta pesquisa é apresentar os resultados de uma investigação ergonômica realizada em setores de reprocessamento de materiais médico-hospitalares, em dois hospitais distintos, fazendo um estudo comparativo da organização da produção, dos parâmetros de qualidade e da realidade imposta em tais unidades de saúde, considerando seus diferentes aspectos organizacionais.
